Homeworking in the chosen company

This bachelor thesis focuses on the homeworking, its advantages and disadvantages, benefits and difficulties for the employer and also for the employees. It contains definitions of the basic terms that are related to homeworking or legal regulation of working from home in the Czech legal system. The main part of the thesis illustrates using of homeworking in UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, Ltd. It describes a method of introduction and utilization of technological resources and application. It also indicates situations in which homeworking is primarily used and a method of protection against hackers and other threats. Results are evaluated and interpreted on the basis of information collected from sent questionnaire survey and face-to-face interview with Ing. Miroslav Zach, the manager of the SME Corporate Client Centre. In conclusion, some suggestions for an improvement are recommended.

Work From Home Abstract The thesis deals with the current institute of labor law, which is working from home. The aim of this thesis is to explain the basic concepts, to summarize the past and current legislation, to analyze the main shortcomings of the current legislation and problematic points of homeworking, and to propose further direction of the legislation through de lege ferenda considerations. In particular, the main idea of the thesis is to present considerations to remedy the deficiencies of the current legislation. The overall structure of this thesis is composed of four parts. The first section discusses basic concepts such as working from home, working away from the employer's workplace, home office, homeworking and teleworking. Furthermore, this section is focused on the development of the legal regulation of homeworking, not only in the Labor Code, and the international and EU context. The second part examines the current legal regulation of working from home, more precisely working away from the employer's workplace, i.e. the provisions of Section 317 of the Labor Code. Teleworking Mother: Stategy for Reconciling Caregiving and Work

This thesis aspires to analyse unique strategies of teleworking mothers with childcare responsibilities. Teleworking as a relatively new form of flexible working arrangement may provide them with distinctive opportunity to reconcile their role within family and labour market at the same time, at the location of their home. In the theoretical part of my diploma thesis I pay special attention to the Czech labour market and family policies from gender point of view and I also introduce the concept of teleworking in relation to gender specifics. Afterwards in the analytical part I analyse three key areas to understand the whole reconciliation strategy - motivation to choose teleworking instead of parental leave, ways of workday organization and different forms of securing childcare. 1 Performance of work outside the employer's workplace Abstract The goal of this diploma thesis is to critically assess the current legislation regulating performance of work outside the employer's workplace contained in the paragraph 317 of the Labour code and to describe historical roots of this institute. Further this diploma thesis aims to describe eventual shortcomings of the current legislation and to propose some legislative changes. This diploma thesis is divided into 9 chapters including the introduction. In the first and second chapter there is an introduction of the problematics of the performance of work outside the employer's workplace and definition of the basic concepts, specifically homeworking and teleworking. In the third chapter there is a description of historical roots of the performance of work outside the employer's workplace in the era of the First republic, Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and socialism. Work performance outside the employer's workplace Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the institute work performance outside the employer's workplace, to assess its current legislation and to provide possible solutions in terms of de lege ferenda. The first part of the diploma thesis defines basic terms relating to discussed issues, which are place of work, regular workplace, homeworking and teleworking, for the purposes of better understanding of the following text. The second part deals with the historical development of this institute from the first legal regulations relating to homeworking to current legislation contained in the Labour Code and in Act on Civil Service. One chapter of this part is also dedicated to amendment of the Labour Code from 2017, which should have brought substantial changes into this institute, but it was not accepted. The third part represents the most significant documents concerning homeworking or teleworking at the international level and at EU level. Digital nomad – management, managing people on distance

This bachelor thesis is about teleworking, specifically the digital nomads with main focus on the details of a manager's position. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part mainly came from available specialized literatures on this topic. It familiarizes with today's approaches and it sets up the basic overview about this issue. The practical part of the work is based on qualitative research, which was structured by interviews with ten different nomads. During the interviews they shared their approaches and methods for leading their employees on distance. The aim of this thesis is to familiarize with this more and more growing trend of teleworking, formulate today's methods, enrich them with my own research, and afterwards express the most important principles and tips for managing people on distance.
Teleworking - current situation in the Czech republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on teleworking (homeworking) and its current situation in the Czech republic. It is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part, familiarizes with chosen topic. It explains basic terms, describes an attitude of the European Union and aspects of teleworking in the Czech law. Mission of this part is to submit a common attributes of teleworking, point out on existing technologies in remote working and highlight its possible advantages and disadvantages for employees as well as for employers. Practical part focuses on how Microsoft Czech Republic puts teleworking (homeworking) into practice. Part of it is also a research among employees of this company. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to provide recommendation to managers who plan to use the concept of teleworking in their companies.
Analysis of usableness of cloud computingu for teleworking

Cloud Computing has become a serious participant in ICT in past few years. Technical and economic attributes of Cloud Computing can change a forecast in an organization. These benefits are investigated and putted into large picture of teleworking. In critical moment there is flexibility, which is crucial either for the organization or for the individual. How much is flexibility important is illustrated on the example of organization, that is considering whether the cloud computing and teleworking is the right way for the their future.
